I’m just too tall to reasonably fit in one. I do love them though. However, one thing that would trouble me is 1) availability and timeliness of parts (I know you’d have to get from Japan...+1 to the dude on here with the Fast and Furious reference) and 2) will the mechanics around here touch it?

haha, well played.

At least those answers make sense, unlike watching House Hunters.

Kudos to the owner for keeping this so pristine. It looks great...but just like we see a lot here, just because something is rare does not make it desirable.  This is still thousands overpriced.  CP

That navigation interface from 1982 still looks better than my 2008 Accord.

At the end of the day, nobody really cares what any automaker’s stance is on this, or really any other, issue. Which automaker has the best looking, most featured, most reliable, and best priced vehicle to suit my needs...that’s it.

I’ve always dreamed of pulling into the corporate parking lot in something like that.  100% would daily drive.

Yeah, they do it to get more people to come and eventually use the restroom, buy pecans, buy jerky, T shirts, a Yeti cooler, etc. Some locations even lose money on the gasoline but the margins on all the crap inside is so high. I agree they do need to up their electric charging infrastructure, starting with a couple

Buc-ees doesn’t make shit off the gas. They can tear those pumps out and put charging stations when those become more feasible. We just aren’t there yet.

There’s enough stuff in my life that’s made in China. While I know the U.S. was once this way with Japanese cars once upon a time, I just can’t see myself buying a Chinese-made automobile.

Every president has ridiculous pardons, but the Bannon one really pisses me off because he VERY recently just stole money from a lot of people and has zero consequences for it.  Much different than Flynn, lil Wayne, etc.

The lowest bar in automotive history, I reckon.

Pfft. Our train system is far superior. USA!!

In a used BMW, just treat any warning light as $2,500 minimum.

Still better than a Vega

If you give us the good Peugeot models and slap a Chrysler badge on it, isn’t it the same thing? I don’t know if there are any good Peugeot models, but this country really doesn’t want French-branded cars...we really don’t. The Italians are about ready to fold up Fiat and Alfa here, and they hold more sway in America

I can dig it, as long as we’re talking about a couple thousand and not $5k+.

I agree.  A few years back I was all on board, then everything you mentioned happened and I really never thought about it again.

This looks like something James May would pick on one of those challenges where you had to pick up a car for $1,000 like on the Miami to New Orleans special.  This is MAXIMUM $1,000, probably less.

Fiat never had any business in America. They tried the same formula they failed with decades ago...WAY sub-par reliability in a package the American consumer doesn’t want.
