You’re right. Reddit isn’t under any obligation to do anything they don’t want to do. But Gawker, and everyone else, is well within their rights to publicly flay them when they voluntarily elect to promote barf-bucket forums.

I don’t get your point, seems you entirely agree with the OP, reddit isn’t obligated to do anything. Reddit can't be compelled to promote or not promote anything.

I think the issue is that the author thinks reddit should be obligated to do so, which they absolutely should not.

This is a good reminder that the vast majority of men are not tweeting shit like this. Getting tired of this being treated like a societal issue, instead of an issue with an incredibly small and incredibly loud minority of men.
