The voters in Kentucky keep reelecting him because he pisses off the people they hate. That’s the truth about a lot of Trump voters; they live memorable lives and want everyone else to be miserable, too.

If I were his wife I would release him back into the depths of the ocean where he belongs

If I were his wife I would feed him with lettuce and change the water of his tank every day.

Provocative clothing REDUCES the risk of rape.

Maybe you should think about why people believe that a woman who shows skin looks like a floozy.

And how certain body types, no matter how much they cover, are just viewed as sexy anyway.

If I showed up to a first date showing tons of skin, that would set a very bad tone for the date.

I think we need to approach a world where “respecting yourself” means dressing in the way that is appropriate to the situation, not to how much skin you’re showing. It’s one thing to show up to an interview in clothes that don’t represent you’re a professional, but if it’s hot and you’re walking around outside, your

Agree. I am responsible for controlling my urge to drink mass quantities of wine, to watch my diet by not eating a gallon of ice cream for dinner, to not tell my boss to fuck off because and a million other things. So, if I can do all this, these little fuckers can learn too.  Damnit.

Also this.........

This is my argument as well. If men can’t “control themselves”. Not only in terms of sexual harassment and abuse of women, but in terms of generalized violence (they commit 90% of violent crimes), then why should they be given power and control? They obviously can’t be trusted to conduct themselves properly.

Here’s a mock up the original plans for the “modesty poncho”

If boys and men are that powerless to their urges, then they shouldn't be allowed in public, including school. After all, if a hemline puts them on a direct path to Satan, they're not going to learn anything in school anyway. Quarantine them until they stop sexualizing people.

Hey, Christian schools, want to avoid this kind of controversy? Instead of rambling on about how long a girl’s hemline has to be before it doesn’t make Jesus cry, why not preach to the boys about what the good Lord told them to do in these situations?

I have, yeah. No doubt it’s a great experience compared to coach. It’s just the difference in comfort on the plane isn’t worth that much to me, compared to the hassle of traveling w a suit all day.

“Travel much” is of course relative. I’m not a consultant gone mon-thurs every week if that’s what you mean. I take probably 20 flights per year, about half for business.

Middle ground? For what? There is no middle ground. I either want to wear something or I don’t. There is no compromising. Why should I? For your sensibilities? I think not, ArtistAtLarge. Unless you’re paying for my trip, my clothes, and everything else... then by all means, tell me what I should wear. I’ll take a

I’ll take “shorts and a tshirt in coach” over “suit and tie in first class” any day. It’s not just the flight itself, it’s traveling to the airport, through the airport, through the airport again, and traveling from the airport, all of which are way more manageable in leisurewear.

Counterpoint: Dressing nicely might score you a free upgrade (but very likely won’t), while dressing comfortably is a sure bet.

In my city you cannot file a report unless you give them all your personal information (name, address, etc) and it must be correct. Then they give a copy of that to the neighbor saying you complained. Ya, that’s a great idea.

So you’re advocating training someone else’s dog without their permission? Nice. You are right that when used properly a dog whistle doesn’t hurt, but just telling people to buy them and use them - especially in a situation like this - is foolish and potentially harmful. These dogs could be barking for a legit reason
