I've done this. It works really well. After 3 hours of trying to replace a rusted on brake cylinder on my TJ in parking lot during a blizzard in MA last year I just said fuck it, clamped that line and drove home.

Besides rims and tires what is substantially different? The sticker? The rubicons come with rock rails standard, but so does the Willys package. I suppose you could make the case that the Hardrock, Rubi X and 10A edition all have different bumpers but a typical rubicon looks basically the same as a sport

It's just an older rubicon(pre 2012 maybe). Has the right tires and the Rubi rock rails. I think those rims used to come with the rubis a few years ago.
