That is exactly why I said "yuck", I don't hate the accord coupe for its design, I just don't expect to recognize it's lines on a car well over 100k.

I see the side profile of an accord coupe. Yuck. Am I the only one who see that?
Here we see it in its natural habitat. The redneck watering hole.
Top speed for production cars is a big dick measuring contest. Unfortunately VW has the only ruler large enough. AND THEY WONT SHARE BECAUSE THEIR DICK IS ASSUREDLY THE LARGEST.
DO A BARREL ROLL!
No problem bud. I keep losing my own comments in this new system, so I can't fault you for it ;). It feels like they wait till I finally understand how the commenting system works then change it over the weekend.
They say "Chevy says dropped the temperatures of engine coolant and engine oil by 2 degrees Fahrenheit during track testing."
So what if it was 2 degrees hotter outside.... The engine fails?
Yeah I guess now that I look at it, it is a pretty big badge. I would take the statement more seriously if they said they got those results in a controlled wind tunnel test with back to back badge swaps. Track testing introduces a ridiculous amount of variables into the system.
Their solution? A chrome bowtie with the center cut out. They call it the "flowtie," and while it seems like a simple and obvious answer, it's good enough to allow three additional cubic meters of air into the engine per minute. Chevy says dropped the temperatures of engine coolant and engine oil by 2 degrees…
Now I can't trust any links haha. Will points be actual points or boobies.... Actually I am okay with both
But before the shit went down however, and American cars were forced to get small based solely on a Steve Martin comedy bit, Ford produced a series of wagons that were as vast as the American dream, and as much its embodiment as mom, apple pie, and the missionary position.
A friend of mine DDs his FRS. He says its not so bad with the snow tires, he really only worries about steep hills. If I didn't already have the jeep I would probably have gotten snow tires and just drove the BRZ. At least it has a LSD haha.
Amen. My jeep with snow rated tires stays in rear wheel drive all the time. Only 4wd when I need to drive through snowbanks or start on really steep snowy hills. My brz with summers on the other hand can not leave the flat driveway when there is snow down (because stuck).
Yeah I didn't even think about European gas prices to be honest. Saving 10-15k a year on fuel would be a bigger incentive.
I think my car costs approximately 3000 a year in fuel, so yeah there is that savings but if the car is lets say 20k more expensive than your base gti, it still takes a little over 6.5 years to pay itself off.
Makes me think of Hank Moody's Porsche haha. Gives it character.
If they could do this for a reasonably cheap price it would be awesome. Unfortunately my money is on the fact that it wont be affordable.
that. is. adorable.
Thanks Doc
