Getting a beer isn’t a last minute’s notice deal in PA? I don’t know who this Burke is but he’s stuck in the past. You can get beer in PA at many many grocery stores, convenience stores, even at certain Wawas now. The law allows sales from 7 am - 2am.

I should add: They did something similar with Annie Wilkes in season 2 of Castle Rock. Which is why I stopped watching Castle Rock.
