I've never heard of Joanna Newsome. I'm going to go check her out on Spotify.

Football is the perfect sport for America in 2015: it's fast, dumb, loud, violent, and perfect for people with short attention spans. I say that as someone who still likes football despite myself.

Loving this. It's like 9 different takes on Helicopter, but even better.

So many Jez heads on the AV Club.

Frau Blucher!

"They called me the abomination of Obama's nation… well, that's a pretty bad way to start the conversation."

I listened to Sign o the Times all last week on Spotify. Talk about lucky timing. Also: I don't quite understand why that album is so revered. It sounds pretty dated with the 80's drum sound.

My Dinner with Andre was actually filmed at the Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, Virginia. I always thought it was inconceivable that my hometown could film such a Yankeeish movie.

No. The Constitution says nothing about requiring a cabinet at all. George Washington established it as a custom and every president has done it since. And the Constitution barely spells out the VP's role at all, other than to say that he/she is to be president of the Senate and cast a tie breaking vote if necessary.
