One of the most brilliant things about this show is how it depicts DC's boss-employee culture. It's a weird mixture of disdain, loyalty, incompetence, and random achievements that the staff and the boss had little to do with

"I was bulimic the whole first year. And I didn't even lose any weight."

Leper in the Backfield

I love that Selma's iguana's name is Jub Jub. It's the small details on this show.

Not a bad pick. I'm partial to Train in Vain and Straight to Hell, though.

Whenever I hear Chris Frantz hit the snare drum twice to kickstart this song I immediately stop whatever I'm doing for the next 3 and a half minutes. Beautiful song.

I thought the gateway to Led Zep was high school?

I love Ben. Having worked in politics in DC for 8 years, I can say that some of the old bulls like Ben are hilariously gruff and dispirited but incredibly competent at the same time.

I love this song and I hate how I always forget how much I love it.

Go tell it to the mountain.

The SIMPSO headline reminded me of Robespierre's final signature. He was signing a document and had to stop at "Ro" just as he was being arrested: http://joshuarex.com/artwor…

Yeah, I always had a soft spot for New Order. It took the elements of Joy Division that I like (Peter Hook's bass) and subtracted the parts I didn't (the terrible drum sound and gloom/doom)

My list:

Bollocks.
