Why can’t the NFL hire full time Refs?
Why can’t the NFL hire full time Refs?
If you want to know how fucked up the NFL is when it comes to officiating: these playoff games are given as rewards for having a good season. There are 10 playoff games plus the Super Bowl so 10 referees get selected for 10 different games. 7 get left home or are selected as alternates. Tripplette was one of those 10…
It’s remarkable that it’s not even really up for debate that Triplette is the worst referee in NFL history.
The year is young, but this may be “Reply of the year“...I hope the academy doesn’t forget about it in December.
He likely cost the Chiefs the game yesterday by gifting their opponent three points, so fuck him for foisting the Titans on us again.
He’s got pictures of Goodell fucking Brady? Not surprising that’s why he was so butt hurt over the deflategate scandal.
My guess is continue to hide them. He has just as much to lose if everyone finds out about his fetish of dressing up like a goat.
I wonder what he’ll do with those pictures of Roger Goodell fucking a goat that enabled him to keep a job for so many years.
It also had Keanu Reeves dragging down the rest of an amazing cast but I stand by my word. Besides when it comes to being covered in blood this looks like a good day for Anthony Hopkins.
No, but clearly they have to be! This can’t just be a coincidence. And they’ve already dealt with Samuel Colt ages ago, we’re long due for the totally-obvious Winchester connection.
THIS!! I have been waiting for that to happen. But I can’t remember, was it ever explicitly said that they’re related to Sarah Winchester?
Crimson Peak was everything I ever wanted. What a fantastic film, loved it.
Two thoughts: 1) I would have preferred a more subtle psychological thriller that leaves it you unsure whether she’s being haunted by ghosts versus her own guilt and 2) Why has there not been a Supernatural episode where Sam and Dean visit this house and travel back in time to meet their ancestor Sarah?
Dude, thank you so much! When I saw this story, I was like, wait, didn’t I read a kind of scary comic book about this a million years ago, but I couldn’t remember what or where or why. This guy I dated for a minute lent me a whole giant stack of Swamp Thing comics, and I consumed them in much the same way I binge…
It probably will. I can tell just from the trailer. Then again I’m really judgey when it comes to my spooky, gothic period pieces. Like Bram Stoker’s Dracula and Crimson Peak are the standards you have to meet for me.
That series is so, so good. I got back into comics at the end of his run but I had heard good things. They didn’t sell trade paperbacks on a large scale until the early -90’s or so. I didn’t get full appreciation of ST until Moore’s tenure was well over.
Yessss I never read about Winchester without imagining this story. Moore’s Swamp Thing is unbelievable. And the ART! Guess I need to go reread it an eleventh time.
I’m going to nerd out a bit here, but please bear with me. Alan Moore, the guy who wrote the seminal Watchmen graphic novel in the late 80’s, first made his name in America (he’s British) by completely revamping the 70’s monster series Swamp Thing. The title’s 2nd story arc was called American Gothic in which Swampy…
first thought :a house that sits on 6 acres....... it’s like trying to wrap my head around a billion dollars.
Makes sense. The Rich tend to ruin everything.
