At first, I would agree, but I did listen to her press conference and she seems credible.

It’s hard to say it stinks to high heaven when there’s literally a picture of it. But the response has been further illustrative of the chasm of actual morality between the political parties: Democrats actually own up and call for accountability, Republicans circle the wagons, lie, and denigrate the victims.

We can say it’s childish, sexist, and not okay and still recognize that calling for resignation over it is absolutely ridiculous.

It fits just fine sunce Franken also asked for a Senate hearing into himself. He knows he didn’t do it and she would now like to not have to lie to Congress. So she accepts his apology.

Leeann Tweeden said on CNN today that she accepts Franken’s apology and believes he shouldn’t resign. That really doesn’t fit in with some kind of hit job.
