Yeah, no. The US would not be invading Russia and risking a global nuclear war even for LeBron. There’d be way more coverage, for sure, but it wouldn’t change the situation.

That or their take that the WNBA is somehow owed viewership and popularity. Like, if people aren’t watching, they’re not watching. What are you going to do, hold a gun to people’s heads and shame them into watching women’s basketball because it’s unfair that it’s less popular than the men’s?
She is an American lesbian who went to Russia to make money knowing full well what kind of society she was entering.
This is a weird comment Ken. 22 year olds aren’t really the best judges of anything and 67 is still a young age to die at. What is the point you were trying to make?
Well no shit she isn’t a priority. What has happened to her is cruel, inhumane, and unfair. However, the President has a lot more on his desk than just Brittney. She is being held hostage by a hostile government to try and extort the US into easing sanctions or pulling support for Ukraine, none of which is going to…
“Britany Griners wife knows fuck all about Geo Politics”
RIP, Ray. This is a shocking death, and he was a fantastic character actor.
Seriously, maybe don’t bring drugs into another country, especially one with which we are not so friendly.
I know it’s a huge movie, but I’ve only seen it once and I’m more than twice their age. I didn’t see the Godfathers until my 40s, and then more out of a sense of obligation than real desire. Some people just aren’t into mob movies.
I feel like I’m going crazy. Biden can’t even get popular changes passed in his own country, but Jez somehow thinks that my dude can just waltz into a country you guys are in a proxy war with and “use his powers” to bust her out of prison?
It shouldn’t be.
I wish Jezebel would interview, like, a single person who knows about foreign policy and prisoner exchanges to try and understand what and if the government is doing and how these things work.
I would imagine it was possible due to Goodfellas coming out a decade before they were born. I don’t know why people expect everyone to have seen every movie ever made
RIP. Goodfellas, more than anything, shaped the idea of a “mob movie” and Liotta was a big part of that since he was great in it. Impossible to see that movie on TV and not watch it for at least 30 minutes.
I can GUARANTEE her it's not. I'd frankly be concerned if it was in his top ten.
No, his death is not “just as bad” as you forming a negative opinion about him. Dear god.
It’s a shame. He was a good fella.
Fucking hell. What a shame.
I’m not sure this is the case to make this argument.
