This was BS indeed. I was shopping for a dad car and moving my Z06 along, and needed a backseat and auto trans.  Ended up going F80 M3 because the Golf R hatch was a bit small and didn't do as much for me as the Golf wagons.  I'm confident that either my wife or I would have ended up in a Golf R Sportwagen.

We wont buy it because it will be priced at $80k+.

Anyway we could see a “Does it Baby”? I’ve got 2 kids in rear facing seats and I’m in the market soon for a fun commuter car. I cannot fit both seats comfortably in anything but our C-Max and even then it’s a bit too tight for my tastes. I’m 6'2" and have to drive my 240SX with the seat all the way back on the rails…

Two things.

To me, this reads as a $3,500 Explorer with a $2,400 VCR in it. Plus, it’s slightly more top-heavy, just in case they weren’t “tippy-over” enough already.

Because Americans are stupid and don’t buy wagons...so we don’t get any wagons.
