yeah, but did she contribute any genetic material?

Do clones count as offspring?

Yeah, some parents are actually pretty shitty.

Not his kids anymore, they retconned that.

Torture in August? hell no, the firey death that is Florida weather has already begun.

Holy crap soccer fans are insufferable. I was making a joke dummy.

Then I'll just keep saying goalie to piss them off. Thanks for the info.

For Americans that position is also called Goalie. Fun fact, soccer is called Football in not-america. Source: Playing soccer throughout my childhood.

Ah I was confusing Moviebob's twitter with Inkoo Kang's analysis on the escapist podcast. Inkoo thought it was a "amputee metaphor" (whatever that means). And Moviebob went back on his review of the movie, where he saw it as a rape revenge fantasy movie, saying he understood that it could be seen as a breast cancer

Yep, lol. I got the feeling she just really didn't want the movie to be about rape. Also she was really against putting the film into the "rape-revenge" genre. Which I think may be a valid point? I haven't seen it yet.

I would watch any movie written that way.

I don't think they missed it so much as argued that it was something different. I've heard a critic argue that it was a breast cancer surivor metaphor.

ah, well that's a good too. I thought it would be pretty clever for someone to post the same comment on both articles. and Phoenix Tso is the one who wrote that god awful "asian men are angry" article a while back isn't she? Wouldn't expect anything good from her.

What?

That's the same thing you posted on the gawker article. Woah, ultra-meta-joke

Hmm, yeah I suppose you are right. Looking at the wikipedia page, I don't think they are owned by anyone.

I figured John Adams, but I wasn't 100% sure so I had to look it up.

Yeah seriously. Jezebel doesn't seem to be the place where frank miller fans would congregate. I get the feeling gawker is owned by some company with a connection to the studio making this. Veiled advert.
