This is me. Except my extremely religious family doesn't allow alcohol. But I make it a big point to leave the room. I know it probably makes me an asshole but as the most highly educated member of my family, it always makes the point that I am not going to deal with their uneducated bullshit.

It is mostly women, but men can dig it, too. They just aren't socialized as much to engage in it. My husband now always remembers the towels, chocolates, and soaps for the guestbed because he likes how everyone reacts to it.

We were "fortunate" to be tasked with hosting a party for my husband's office last year. It was a progressive dinner party and we were the first stop. We expected about 20 people, but realize that we were only the first stop of three and people would be staying two hours, max. We were told to buy (with office money,

"Not a strong thesis" is the perfect way to describe it.

I don't know about you, but I like it because my mother likes it. People have always said my mother has a servant's heart. So in that way, it's probably socialization. Maybe it's my duty, but I mostly just genuinely enjoy making people happy, whether it's picking out the right magazine for the guestroom when my MIL is

My husband and I have an agreement that the kids (to be had) will get his last name but all the dogs will have my last name. I am irrationally happy by the idea that they might actually know it. :-D

Yeah they are really good, too. I also have a place near me that sells their own fresh pasta and it is divine! Fresh pasta is just the best.

Insert face here.

How absolutely crushed was Franco today that President Obama didn't know his name? I like to believe that it absolutely destroyed him.

Right, you can't sit outside, which I miss. Usually if I want to see games I try to swing a pre-season game in one of the little stadiums. I understand why we have an enclosed stadium (we are the lightning state, after all) but fuck if it isn't a terrible way to watch baseball.
