Hehe. When I first read this, I thought it was signed "Fucking moron," and was very confused.

We didn't have a grave. His memorial is I Hawaii where we lives at the time and I've never been able to go back. It is weird. I would like to see it someday.
Dude. You NEVER move on. My dad died 19 years ago when I was ten, and I'm still grieving. I have his picture and an obituary in my office for him. It doesn't make me more sad to look at it every day.
It is pretty much impossible to understand as a kid, I must say. I spend years dreaming that it was all a prank because I couldn't really conceive of it.
Well, as another person who lost a father young (age 10, he was 45) I'd give pretty much anything in the world to have a few more handwritten any-damn-things from him. So I don't think we can yet judge this to be a "terrible idea."
That line is the reason I didn't listen to that song again after the first time I downloaded the album. And I kept waiting for people to pipe up but all I heard was, oh well it wasn't her line. But that can't be said at the Grammy's... she did nothing to take the line out, and she mouthed parts of it herself!!! Ugh. I…
It is really, really frustrating that we aren't talking more about this Ike Turner bullshit. I want to love Bey and all but what the fuck is up with that line? How can we just ignore it?
Athens is one of my favorite little towns. I'll defend it with you! Few weeks go by without my husband and I reminiscing of our time there.
To be fair, Athens, GA, as a unit, is usually blue. But they fall in the same district as Augusta, GA, not to mention all kinds of surrounding areas.
Man that Pocahontas bit was very, very funny.
Very beautifully written!
OK buddy. I'm just going to stop now, because I think the language barrier is not working for us, and I have no fucking clue how I accused you of a "thought crime."
What in the hell are you even on about? The whole point of his post, and mine, is that both parties in the US don't seem to have a problem with bombing the middle east at will and that that is a problem. He used "brown people" not as a pejorative, but as a reflection how nebulous a group that people in washington seem…
Dude, pipe down. I'm using the quote from the OP. If you don't like the term, please see him.
Why not uhaul? They have insurance to cover accidents resulting in bodily harm. If you were driving your car and hit a pedestrian, your insurance would cover. Uhaul has additional insurance on their vehicles (in addition to driver insurance, plus that insurance you can buy through uhaul). That insurance can pay. That…
IME no they don't give you additional info on driving trucks at all. Which is why I avoid Uhauls at all damn cost when I see one on the road. May as well drive a billboard that says "inexperienced driver over here!"
All they have to do is get passed a motion to dismiss at this stage. Then string along some discovery, and make a decent claim that insurance should cover it. If insurance doesn't cover the claim, you make a lot of threats about a bad faith action, which makes the insurance companies liable for attorneys' fees and…
You always, always, always sue the deep pockets. Especially if they have insurance.

I don't think "game of legal hardball" is supposed to be bad. It is just what we (lawyers) do, most of the time.
