Final Space is proving to be a fun little show. Counterparts has been the best show on television this year, and yet The A. V. Club isn’t covering either.

That is what blew the joke for me. Everyone knows that Canada is a protectorate, not a state.
We did the same this weekend, and noted that Cyrano was making a comeback in sitcom land. Both were interesting takes, but had to love Tina and her butt clouds.
Let’s not be overly critical of season two. Sure, the final episode was a mess, for obvious reasons, but we got many good things, including Puppet Ash.
I know. between the review and some of the comments, I’m more interested in this than I was from the commercials. It sounds like it could be fun.

I always assumed that Disney kept extending the Copy Right Act into perpetuity so that even when the Holodeck was invented, nothing had gone into copyright since the 20th century and they had to make do with what was available.
It’s a known Kinja fault. Doesn’t appear to actually reduce the numbers of stars. Expect the Kinja team to fix it in twelve years after they finally instal spoiler tags.

For some reason, in the 39 years since I first saw it, this one always stuck with me:
Sure, we have to have another “Californians” sketch, but why have the guy from Staten Island call out their accents, instead of the two guys from California? Were Beck and Mooney really too busy?
Del Toro used his limitation well (he has a gift for that). The atmosphere created with the dark stormy fights did work well.
That is in part what I meant. The original’s cgi might have been just there, but they gave everything a good sense of physicality (I have the Blu Ray 3D, it is always worth a re-watch). And how can you go wrong with giant robot/monster battles? Just don’t take it too seriously. But have fun with it.
I can’t believe I spent tens of thousands of dollars and three years of my life going to law school when I could have just done a ton of coke and crashed my car.
I thought it was Will Forte doing an old man scene for Last Man on Earth.
