That 3DS Castlevania was really bizarre, almost as if a trickster God looked at the franchise and said “hmm, let’s just remove every single thing that people like about it hehehehe.”

This is great news. The “feel” of the game was the major thing I was worried about, with the MercurySteam pedigree.

Note to future players of Splatoon 2: I will buy this game and will be absolutely horrible at it. This is your warning.

I love both announcements, obviously, but the PR hack in me thinks they shouldn’t call it Metroid Prime 4 and come up with a new branding for all of the new, and young, gamers that are coming to the Switch. Am I crazy?

Exactly! And Trails of Cold Steel is awesome! All of the Trails game really. Yeah its really JRPGs and indies that gave Vita life LONG after Sony abandoned it, and if Switch is that PLUS Nintendo first parties, I’m a happy camper, and that’s bare minimum.

I know there is this whole argument about whether or not the Switch is getting too many ports but, I say, bring ‘em on. I never quite had the patience to give Skyrim the time it deserved way back when, because I have a job and stuff(unfortunately) but portable yes please.

This is my thought when any game is announced now, particularly quirky indie titles. The Switch has ruined us! Or has it saved us?! Time will tell...

I am seriously not even going to play P5 until it releases on the Switch. If that means I’ll never play it, then so be it. I don’t have 200 hours to sit in front of a TV to play JRPGs anymore, as much as I love them.
