There really is no reason to get this game when Adventure Time exists and came out on the same day.

There are triggers. And achievements are up to each developer for each game. For instance, Nintendoland has built in achievements.

I think the complaint was, more or less, "I don't want to play poorly conceived versions of console games on my portable" ie the Resistance game. The Wii U offers the ability to play, not crappy ports or off-brand versions of our favorite franchises, but the actual games themselves.

People will get excited when there is stuff to be excited about. There really hasn't been any "proper" next gen console talk since, well, the last gen.
