I already use the free orb app to do the same thing. Why would I need this? My computer stays on and I either stream via PS3 or Mac mini. I guess this works for those without a computer...haha but really who doesn't have a computer.

@phiyuku: I have comcast internet. Im at 50mbs. Detroit area. Its available. People do have 6mps...but thats probably because they choose to. the average person doesnt need higher than 6mbps.

@humperdinck: All Twitter apps don't have notifications. Boxcar also notifies quicker in most cases. As for gmail, it is a great option. As soon as the email comes though I'm notified insteadnof every 15 mins
