I won’t accept anything much lower than my combined 34mpg.”

The two door mock-up version is indeed absolutely awesome. I know this is a design article but can we also just take a moment to reflect on this thing having 275hp? Hyundai could’ve probably gotten away with giving it barely 180hp and I still think it’d sell well but 275 is just craziness and I am 100% here for it.

I’m thinking a rack kind of like the ski rack on Bond’s Lotus in For Your Eyes Only

Nah, like this:

I worked for Hughes when this all happened. There were some great things started (maybe not done well) that made sense. The brought a lot of our System Engineers over to the automotive side where they could help. They brought some of our Optical Engineers where they get the first Heads Up Displays going in cars, they

Now I need to find a citation for this ...

You forgot to mention that in ‘84, GM bought EDS, the Ross Perot created data services company. That was part of Smiths 10% non-auto income push along with Hughes and a bunch of other things. That SSC concept was prophetic. Too bad GM didn’t have the wits to

I saw a NASCAR Talladega comparison years ago. Apples and oranges, I know, but in one cup race at Talladega, at the height of tandem drafting, there were more lead changes in a single race than the entirety of the F1 season.

Methinks you just answered your own question.

Wow. Did you get paid by the word for this comment?

Man, that would be exciting though huh? Put Hamilton in a Red Bull and Verstappen in a Mercedes for a weekend and see what happened.

Sure. That’s why Mercedes “accidentally” fucked up Russel’s pit stop when he was dragging the field in Bahrain last year.

That’s because eight crashes outnumbered contested on-track passes for the lead last year. Elementary, really ...

I’d guess (FOR THE MOST PART) that if you talk to any driver in the field they’d all say something about the same. Rivalry between teammates is always going to be fierce at this level of sport, but there’s almost certainly a similar level of respect (AGAIN, MOST OF THE TIME).
