It exists because it was in Boise Idaho. That car wouldn't be in that good condition or that cheap here in Long Island
For a recall due to an issue of this severity, I’d be cool with the car being uninsurable until repaired. Or the car doesn’t pass annual inspection (the FAA can ground airplanes, so why not “ground” an unsafe car). Or deny registration when there is a new owner (car can’t kill you if you can’t get license plates for…
This. The vehicle that changed the automotive landscape. Would we be awash in SUV’s today without the Caravan in the 1980's?
I enjoy the slideshows. But I also like bus fumes
I was in high school in the 80's. Fox body Mustang was the car we all wanted
The movie definitely helped, but an upstart auto manufacturer who left GM to start his own company, then got busted selling cocaine to finance his car biz, also does a lot to cement Delorean into our automotive history.
Genius!
My remark wasn't a serious suggestion.. it was a dig at FCA. Unbelievable the return on investment they have gotten on those cars
Meat-heads on Long Island treating their commute like NASCAR at Talladega. Not a single cop on the roads here for most of March, all of April, and most of May. Morning radio traffic guy reminding, then towards the end of April pleading with the listeners to drive slow and safe.
2010 Kia Soul. Current at 155,200 miles. Outside of regular use items like brakes, tires, fluids and head / tail lights, it has only needed a passenger side lower control arm. Not the car’s fault. The roads on Long Island are questionable at best.
Just keep using the same platform indefinitely with some cosmetic updates from time to time. That's been working for the Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger/Challenger for.....ummm....a long time now.
Yes.
The corner worker sprayed him as he climbed the barrier, then the medical car driver sprayed him and the doctor with his extinguisher as the fled the scene. Amazing team effort.
This. Armco is dangerous garbage. Wish we didn’t have it on our highways let alone at race tracks.
Because Armco barrier is garbage. I hate it on the parkways here on Long Island.
Not a fan of Armco barrier on the highway, hate to still see it at race tracks. Sure, it is in an area less likely to be part of a crash, but anything is possible at any place on any track.
