Aren’t there adapters to plug a 3.5mm jack into a lightning connection? This seems like a fairly easy hurdle to surmount.

My initial reaction to this headline was “Who the hell cares?” Question withdrawn!

It’s a matter of personal opinion, but both feel equally fake to me. Getting completely lost in a work of fiction, or at least making your level-best attempt to, is something I can absolutely relate with. This aspect of RDR2 doesn’t break my immersion, and but I sympathize with anyone for whom it does.

Your points are valid, but isn’t this how pretty much every game is? Not sure if I’ve ever played something where it felt like the NPCs were real people.
