Time to get some new material, dude. Because that line was never true or funny.

Huh? The point is the McCartney record that RS was dissing (for political reasons in 1971) is actually a great record. Or didn't you see that "A" up top.

Odd. I like Paul McCartney for all the right reasons. You know what they are, Paul.

In my view, when you see Dylan these days, you're not going to see Dylan the singer or Dylan the musician. You're going to see Dylan the performance artist. That's what he's become. Some people hate his shows and say never again. And the people who like his shows are just enjoying the unpredictability of not knowing…
Absolutely. The McCartney concert I saw was fantastic. He's got a great band — just 4 guys and him. No theatrics. Just music. A bit of fireworks toward the end was the only bit of flash. And the old guy just plays and sings his heart out. My only complaint is that he didn't sing much of his recent stuff but that's…
The larger and more important question this photo raises: Why don't men pluck their eyebrows? He's got some nasty-looking eyebrows. Not quite as bad as Daniel Radcliffe's mega brows, or George Harrison's unibrow. But sheesh, how could a bit of tweezing here and there be a bad thing?
Sconn can always be counted on to make an ignorant slam about the Beatles. It's very boring.
I second everything you said about Season 5 (and yes, Season 7 was the worst — completely unwatchable). But 5 is pretty sucky, too. And it's totally Dawn — the character and the actress. I have never hated a TV character as much as I still hate Dawn.
It does seem like Paul Rudd is making a lot of crappy movies lately.
Tony Bennett had a funny comment about Bruce in the LA Times. He was watching Bruce rehearse before the show and Tony must have forgotten he was talking to a reporter because he said, ""The song repeats itself a lot, though, doesn't it?" Hee.
You didn't miss it. They didn't include her picture in the montage. Some of the musicians who played in her band were apparently pissed about that.
And John Lennon would never have gotten anywhere without McCartney's melodic genius, his drive, his musicianship. Crazy only gets you so far.
Me, too. Psyched, that is. I love all 3 of her albums. Can't believe it's been so long since Extraordinary Machine.
I'm thinking Gary Oldham has a good chance of stealing it from Clooney — more for recognition for Oldham's great body of work than for this Tinker movie.
Random Oscar thoughts: (1) Cars 2 sucked but then so did Cars 1. Worst. Pixar. Movie. Ever. (2) Why didn't the George Harrison documentary get nominated? I'm not saying it deserved a nomination because I thought the film was way too sanitized but I'm still surprised. (3) The 7th Harry Potter movie deserved a nod as…
"But I just synced the actual track to the movie, and it turns out it’s correct to the second. That’s exactly where the song would be when the door opens again." As much as I admire Tarantino for making sure the song tracks exactly to the scene, I gotta say, I admire Mr. D'Angelo here for checking that out. Very cool…
She seems like the sort of feisty woman who would have smacked you up had you asked her this question.
