That sux, but good in the long run; because would you really want to work in a place that has that asshole for a hiring manager?

Also, lay off the booze and drink water - lots of it - like a gallon a day.

It’s true. but I needed an email account in 1994 ASAP and gmail wasn’t a thing yet so I signed up with Roadrunner which was bought out by Yahoo. I still have it, along with my ix.netcom.com account (dormant). Gad. I’m a dinosaur.

Overqualified” is a euphemism for “too old.

There are a few people in my HIIT class that go barefoot. I just don’t get it.

I wonder if that successful author ever dealt with the staff at the New Yorker? No matter what bullshit the author would throw down, the copyeditor would have the last word.

I have a stock answer but I modify it for the employer - “I enjoy finding creative solutions to complex issues and empower others to achieve their goals.” It’s sounds cheesy, and it is, but in the moment, it seems to work.

How do you explain a long term gap in your employment history? Like 3 years? That’s tricky and I’d like to hear some suggestions to that.

I first stumbled upon LaRouche and his people in college back in the late ‘70's; they were nuts then, and still are today. At that time they were organized as a political party, I think it was called Workers World Party or something like that. They were always mixing it up the Spartacus League and some other communist

In the days of film, the longest take was 10 minutes because that’s how long a reel of 35mm film was. Audio is 30 minutes and was recorded on a separate unit called a Nagra (the brand name for the open reel tape recorder). In Touch of Evil, the take ran 7 minutes. Not sure if there’s another feature that can beat that

Shorts at Christmas? That already happened in 2015. The temperature jumped to the 80's for a few days in late December in Philly and the Northeast.

That’s true, but it depends on the industry. For example, a session musician gets an offer to play for a session, the musician will always say yes. The next question is “can you be here in an hour?” - again, the musician will say sure, even if it takes longer than an hour. Because once you say no, the offers dry up.

Clinton was impeached, he stood trial in the Senate but there were not enough votes to convict. (60 out of 100 are needed to convict) And just an aside, criminal activity (such as a felony) is not a prerequisite for an impeachable offense. So when you hear or read some Trump supporter say that what Trump has done is

Yeah, some folks hold back on some info, but Trump may blurt out stuff on social media just to rally the troops and keep things off balance even though he knows it isn’t true or accurate.

Since I exercise at off hours, usually 9am to 11am, I have the place to myself. Frankly, the amount of rest is determined on what I want to do next. Doing crunches for a while then wander over and set up the squat rack, then go back and do the next set of crunches.

Have a few more drinks then you’ll be ready for the next set.

The memo is not a complete transcript of the call. The Executive branch needs to release the audio file and the transcript.
