When I traveled a lot for TV productions, I always scanned the room - the crew called it “an idiot check” - just walk back into the room and look everywhere - in all the drawers, under the bed, in the closet in the bathroom and then switch rooms w/one of the crew - he or she will scan a new room. and might find

Don’t drink before going to bed. If you’re in your 20's and 30's alcohol won’t affect performance - at least too much. But if you’re in your 40's and upwards - booze is a killer. Obviously, I’m only presenting from a male point of view, but when you go dry for 2-3 days, sex becomes quite energetic.

I read somewhere that the Negroni was invented in France. Specifically, the Hotel Negresco in Nice. But the NY Times is saying Italy. Go figure.

I don’t know about grey tux’s but the big push is navy tuxedos. Usually navy velvet jacket. It’s very spiffy - Armani makes it.

Unless it’s opening night gala for the opera, skip the white tie and tails or black tie. Biz casual is fine at the opera - and if it’s a matinee you can relax it a little bit more. Women should wear skirt/dress and men should wear a jacket, sport coat or blazer (and stuff a nice pocket square in there, too!).

I sincerely doubt that one executive made a unilateral decision that fucked things up on a biblical scale at Boeing. It’s just not the way large corporations are run these days. And if you don’t mind, could you cite one specific case from B-School? I’d like to know about it. Thanks.

we have two cats who were born and raised together. On occasion they duke it out for no particular reason but most of the time they pal around together. And in the morning they work collaboratively to wake me up at 5:10am for breakfast. One pokes me with a toe nail on the arm and the other starts knocking stuff off

You might want to try Cardarine (aka GW-501516). It’s been banned from athletic competition for about 10 years, but if you’re not a professional you’re good to go. It improves stamina, and the effects can be felt in cardio and HIIT. Not so much w/lifting and other strength exercises. It’s not that hard to find but

Now that’s a drink.

Technical snafu on Amazing Grace? That technical snafu was operator error. The cameramen never synced with the soundmen at the beginning or ending of each take.

would you get on a boat named “Deathtrap”?

If you ever run across a job opening that doesn’t have a salary range, but instead asks you to post a salary - run like hell. They are not hiring and they are trying to get the cheapest resource available. All that company is doing is trying to figure out what the salary range should be and they’re too lazy to figure

It was a metric error “sorta, kinda, but not really.” The metric/imperial error was discovered early in the program, but after liftoff so during decent engineers calculated back and forth between metric and imperial but due to rounding errors things became fucked up and the damned thing crashed.

In Philly, there’s Parc - it’s on the corner of 18th and Locust and across the street from Rittenhouse Square. They have heaters installed above the awnings for those chilly nights. The food is pretty good, nice wine selection and cocktails.

a polling organization w/ties to Kellyanne leaked info to the press? You could knock me over with a feather! She’s been the main source of negative intel since she’s been there. It’s like an open secret. She spews her propaganda which gets air time and lots of ink and in direct 1-on-1's and secure email, she’s pumping

@Anna Merlan, in your post there’s a reference to SB277 and SB276. Biel’s IG post says SB276 but your repost says SB277. Can you please clarify?

There was a period when the sweetener in Kool-Aid changed. The FDA mandated that cyclamate was bad news in 1969 and banned it as an additive. I think at that point Kool-Aid required the addition of sugar. Also, there may of been sugar substitutes for cyclamate in Koo-Aide, but as a 10 year old at that time, I can

I work out after work - around 5:30 at a HIIT class and my performance numbers are higher than working out at lunchtime. (I have a MYZONE gizmo that measures heart rate and gives me some sorta score called MIPS-don’t ask, just go look up MYZONE if you’re interested) It’s the same exercise class w/the same routine, but

comedy gold.

just because you see it doesn’t mean that more bikes than cars are committing traffic infractions.
