Take a look at the Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia. An amazing collection of Impressionist paintings. Many have been hidden for decades. What makes it unique is the back story of the Foundation (founded by Albert Barnes, a cranky bastard, who made his money on patent medicine - most of it was useless), the eccentric

The Hirshorn is underrated. Saw some amazing exhibitions a few years ago and they always have something that is off-beat but turns out to be fascinating. Yves Klein had a retrospective there - it was very well done. The Phillips is great - not too big, and good in-depth exhibitions.

Triceps are the muscles you use in dips. If you do them properly, it hurts like hell the next day or so. But keep doing them, everyone started from zero, it just takes time and effort and you’ll see incremental change after 4-6 weeks.

good to know, but what’s that in percentages. Just wondering.

Skipping rope. Can’t do it - fast or consistently. I wish I was fast on my feet, but I just hop slowly. Sometimes I double pump/jump which is a big rookie mistake. We have skipping rope in a HIIT class - I fail every time, because I skip rope like a slug.

Flexibility is definitely my kryptonite when it comes to exercise. Also, anything requiring complex coordination is a pain. I usually forget the sequence, get pissed off and frustrated.

Try man-makers. Similar to burpees but not a brutal, yet more effective as a strength and conditioning exercise.

I once had a partner give me a BJ while using her finger on my prostrate - and I didn’t even ask, she did it voluntarily. It was a surprise, pleasant and something I haven’t had since that time. I think the second time it happens that experience won’t be as exciting/erotic/explosive as the first, but eventually I’ll

Philadelphia - skip Geno’s and Pat’s - they’re across the street from each other and they have a boatload of things only a tourist would buy, and their cheese steaks are overpriced. If you want to try a cheesesteak go to Jim’s on South Street. I know many people have their own preferences based on either chopped or

Checker was made in Kalamazoo, but weren’t they just sitting on a Chevy frame? BTW - the manufactures that you mention had a fairly small market share compared to the big 3. Maybe AMC had double digits, but I’m too lazy to look it up.

the fact that you mentioned Packard as well as Studebaker makes me realize that there was a time when car manufacturers were more than the big three.

Currently using them in a HIIT class. It’s a bicycle but you put a band around your toes to increase resistance. Works like a charm.

Quite a few years ago a young woman was dumped by her boyfriend for some inexpiable reason. So she decided to seek revenge by making a video of covering herself in peanut butter and then had a few dogs lick it off of her (at least according to her narrative at the beginning of the video). The video was posted on one

It’s pretty standard for clients to be vetted prior to an appointment with a provider. There were two websites that posted ads and reviews of providers - The Erotic Review (TER) and P411. TER is not active in the USA anymore and P411 is fairly limited. If a potential client posts regular reviews, it supplements the

This game was like a throwback to the early Super Bowl games that were as dull as dishwater. For example, any Viking’s game when Bud Grant was coach. Super Bowl IV - YAWN. Or any of those games with the Bills. Gad.

Most grocery stores have the same pattern but are not laid out the same. My list is by route. Last week a new store opened up in the neighborhood and I took my list and went in. I was totally lost. It was cramped, crowded and asymmetrical since the footprint of the building was on a triangle. To make matters worse the

It’s a dog whistle, all right. Obama’s daily schedule is a matter of public record. The man worked more hours than I care to imagine. Plus, he had to raise two children. And, on top of that, he read books. Lots of books. (Which are also part of the public record. Yes, you can actually research and discover what books

When folks say that a “businessman” (or business person) can run the country better than a politician, they have no clue on how the country is run and they shouldn’t be allowed to vote.

REM does a nice cover of Wichita Lineman.

Vodka. Cranberry juice. Limoncello. It’s a tasty alternative to the Cosmo.
