Works for me. One thing the MCU has done well is streamline everything so the movies do not feel like individual stories that just come together every so often, but instead build off of each other organically. Loki's staff is around, it has powers to control people, so this new ability is not off base. It's not quite

I know it's comic book movies and all that but if you constantly bring back killed villains in these movies would it eventually lower the stakes in subsequent movies. It's like if anyone can come back after death what's the point of watching the heroes win?

I like how the MCU makes mention of the changes in social media:

Am I the only one who just doesn't get the new DC movie-verse? Batman has been around for decades, the Joker is already part of Suicide Squad? No origin except for Superman. WTF?

I watch lots of shows and I think this will forever be my favourite. I loved it start to finish, warts and all.

Eh. Actually, I think that some meta-weirdness in a movie set on Earth might be the only thing that could break the MCU.

Proof of innocence/guilt is still just that, whether it was obtained legally or illegally. If someone breaks into a house to rob it, then catches a murder on film, that film is still proof of the murderer's identity, whether or not the person who captured the film was doing so after illegally breaking and entering. I

I don't want Nova right now because I think Quill being the only earthling is important.

And although the game has grown, we're not seeing the progress we'd hoped for...

That you refer to folks who understand that "always online" comes with its own set of severe problems (see also Diablo III, Sim City, etc) as "the unwashed masses" tells me that the dirty folk might be onto something. ;)

You know, I said exactly that at the time. "Oh, you think these companies that throw a shit fit over preowned are gonna be cool with every game bought getting passed around to ten other non paying friends of yours? And... You thought that was remotely realistic?"

Y'know, I remember when everyone was squalling about the end of "game sharing" on the XBox One following their capitulation relative to their DRM policies.

The idea that a company—ANY company—would purposefully allow potential customers to utilize a for-profit-product for free out of the goodness of their hearts is

This is cute! :3

When you go out on missions, you can opt to join a party or look for one (or just start the map solo). I just got access to the world map and that's what I see when selecting a mission location on the world map.

Played the beta. Opinion:

I love how the 'right side' in this dicussion is supposed to be represented by someone who throws out such bullshit as notions of what makes a "Real man" Words classified by activists as misogynitic slurs, ableist slurs, attempted gender role reinforcement, and a dash of probably assumed virgin shaming.

To me, it's not whether or not the character would work, because you're right - Spider-Man would work well. I think the FF could work in the MCU, too (they don't need to be the first like they were in the comics, Marvel could work them in). X-Men, not so much. Because the whole "mutants are hated and feared but other

"you'd think Iron Man or Iron Patriot would have shown up during the events of Captain America 2. "

Amazing Spider-Man 2 has finished its international run. Guardians hasn't even hit the biggest foreign market yet (China) and is only 50 million behind worldwide. It'll probably beat Spidey by a hundred million or more worldwide when its all over. Plus, foreign revenue doesn't end up anywhere near the money they

Missing a bit of context there. Guardians has made almost as much, cost a fair bit less, and starred a group of unknown characters, not one of the most well known characters in the world.
