No hate on the ride. I've always liked the look of the 348. Isn't it the one that lost a performance shootout to a factory GMC pickup truck, though?
I think he once said, ‘Stance is only for people who can’t build engines.’
Not an unreasonable observation, but I have a hunch that a lot of it really is pretty automatic.
Inferences? Bah! I demand video evidence of these claims! (Actually sounds like a pretty badass History Channel series. That would also make Mr. ‘Public Money’ up there happy.)
As soon as I realized it was not about some anonymous space-marine killing demons on Mars, I lost interest.
Only after you blow it up racing an Evo.
That’s kind of the odd thing about it. Despite the occassional, ambiguously racist jokes, Clarkson isn’t particularly xenophobic.
I wonder if they get paid in pounds or USD. They just lost (or made) a ton of money.
That secession process actually makes the EU a lot creepier. It's like the Hotel California of transnational bureaucracies.
And in all fairness, a French car finishing a 24 hour race at all would necessitate an act of god...
We’ve reached a material engineering tipping point where high technology, high hp/liter designs are reliable enough to go the distance. The monster, low-revving, reliable V8s that powered the original GT-40s are no longer necessary for successful endurance racing.
Americans like to win by ‘throwing money at the problem’?
If it’s any consolation, I did some counter-Intel gathering today. (Spoilers, didn't learn much other than that J-10s look pretty rad.)
Didn’t they just accidentally ship a Hellfire missile to Cuba?
I remember them as being exactly that vicious in the books.
We still use them a lot in advertising and PR, too.
As the owner of a mid-2000s Saturn, I appreciate their acknowledgement that the owner would definitely have to replace fluids. It is a cute (and horrifically honest) admission that they knew exactly the level of build quality of their seals and power train.
Thanks for the heads up! I land next week!
Hi, Kevin!
