but...that’s the point...how can be interested in stuff to fill a need you don’t have? i.e if you needed a tool, you would know what tool you needed. Wandering around to see “what might be useful” is impulse buy territory.

Two obvious problems...1) Cheese mongers don’t sell cheese like that...you can’t walk up and say “Rind edge please” as cheese is typically sliced in wedges (for obvious reasons) and 2) If you were able to get a rinded hunk vs a non-rinded hunk, you’d pay more because cheese is sold by weight and now you are paying for

Or just make something like VLC the default player of audio files...that way if you select a single file, it will play...and you can load up itunes if you like to also play them that way.

It’s not salty at all...it’s the equivalent of a baseball game where the boss battle is chess...too many puzzle games make the mistake of changing the nature of the game...If 99% of the game proceeds at X pace, then having 1% be breakneck is just stupid.

PNY is garbage...there is a reason a Sandisk Extreme pro 256gb card is 3X the price...I’ve had a couple PNY USB sticks and both failed within six months...

Wait so we are buying this “small group of engineers” at Volkswagon theory? Because me and six co-workers often conspire on this kind of level.

Totally...but can you imagine what it’s like to have people invade your space 24/7 in public...honestly, I think I would last two hours before throwing a fit.

Is it though? Any high end gaming ever happen on a Mac? Sure, I imagine on average build quality of a $1200 Mac is likely better than a $900 equivalent specced PC...wonderful...but I am sooo weary of the hardware argument...the chips, graphics cards etc... are all made by other people...

What planet are you on? The 8 hour workday has been edged out? Yah, by the 10 hour workday with emails that never end and the requirement to answer them at all times. We are working more part-time, yes, for lower wages with poor benefits that don’t provide the cash to actually do anything with time off. Netflix and

On the same planet as somebody who doesn’t use sheets...a 25 year old dude who lives by himself and doesn’t know any better.

You’re forgetting an obvious problem...by sleeping next to the comforter you have to wash that thing way more often or it’s disgusting...easier to wash sheets.

Retired early enough? He played 192 regular season and 23 playoff games in the NFL alone...add in, what, 30+ for his college career, 40 in high school? Add in a thousand practices...of course he is a physical wreck.

What’s touching about it? Dude picks A over B. It would be a touching story if he sold his car collection in order to return to his roots, it’s not so touching that guys choose hobby A over hobby B. I don’t write articles about how I picked tennis over squash.

Are police not like trained to shoot people in the leg? Like, I know cops are awful douchebags who run amok on power and don’t think there are ever any consequences to them murdering people (which there never seem to be) but are these idiots not trained in high stress situations to actually think for two seconds

It’s the painting yourself as some sort of hero that’s the issue...I realize he can’t say “I’d represent an eater of babies if the NFL wanted to sign him to a big deal” but it’s also disingenuous (and insulting) to basically present his withdrawl as a moral issue vs financial one.

110%...it’s really tempting to schedule all the museums in like a marathon stretch...but as a veteran traveller, lemme tell you that you’re way better off either hitting the highlights or spending 90 minutes then doing something else...You aren’t going to remember the 17th Rafael or 90th piece of pottery...ask

Then don’t buy one...I have never and will never understand people like you...I don’t have the space (or a desk) for a PC so I have a high end gaming laptop and I use on my coffee table...there, now you understand why some people might want a laptop vs a desktop.

The problem isn’t United or Delta...the problem is, frankly, Joe Consumer...you see Joe Consumer wants to fly from A to B for $5...he shops exclusively on price...the reality is that air travel would be great if everyone was happy to pay double and a 300 seat airplane could be a 150 seat airplane...but consumers

You’d be stupid not to think of it as an investment...it is, almost certainly, the single largest asset you own...sure you have to live somewhere but it is almost certainly going to be a huge factor in your retirement once you downsize.

I’ve had my QC2's for like 11 years now...they were $500...best bang for my buck ever...aside from changing the pads a couple times, they have saved me on like 100+ flights (some as long as 15.5 hours!)
