In December, 2021 I test drove a 2020 Crosstrek with the small engine, no moonroof, the normal stereo, and 24k miles. $31k was what NADA/KBB said it was worth and that’s what it was being sold for.

Depreciation: then go buy a slightly used EV that has already been hit with the depreciation hammer. That’s what I did and with the $4k tax credit it was a fantastic deal!

I think you can get quite a bit of Bronco Sport new for 35 grand? Or go off-lease and get even more?

Why? Joy in performing an action is absolutely a reason to choose something archaic.

When someone says “Large American Sedans”, I think of my grandparents’ 1975 two-door LTD. It was a darker shade of brown, but this is close:

Might be a bit recycled, but it’s still awesome.

Don’t love the colors, reminds me of those weird lemon vanilla Oreos in your grandma’s cookie jar... oddly the cookie jar that looks like the seats.

I think that’s what lease hackrs do.

if i were shopping for cars, i certainly wouldnt be able to pass up a deal like that. drive that thing home that day, and keep passively shopping for the next deal i want...

Our priorities are generally out of whack across the board. It wasn’t long after I started my job that I got the first “when are you going to get a BMW?” question from coworkers. It’s not really just BMWs, but Audi/BMW/Mercedes/Lexus/some monstrous truck. Thankfully not all of us are that way, but a huge % are.

Instead,

Suzuki’s been burned, but I’m kinda suprised some other manufacturer hasn’t imported the Jimny under their own brand. Car manufacturers do this sort of thing from time to time. I bet Honda could make it work. They once sold a rebadged Isuzu Rodeo as the Honda Passport.

You know what, that’s on me. I forgot that the internet is such a debased cesspit of idiotic opinions that “bleeding-heart moon liberals” doesn’t automatically read as a joke. My bad. You know, there probably ARE a subset of Alex Jones fans who think our moon supremacy is being cock-blocked by the left somehow and

I’d like to meet bleeding heart Moon liberals.

Also VGER...

That’s not how orbits work. To move something that large completely out of the gravity of Earth would take an incredible amount of fuel versus the relatively tiny amount needed to deorbit it.

I read somewhere that pushing things out into space is magnitudes more difficult and expensive.  In addition to no longer gaining control over where it will land if its not pushed out far enough.

I’ll take the Fiat 124 over a Mazda Miata any day. More power and MUCH better looking.

WRONG. the avalanche and ext are exactly what a truck should be. can tow. 8 ft bed. gigantic cab, v8, covered storage in bed. mpg and Cadillac are cons for sure though

I’m just saying that when Japan and Germany team up on a project, the outcome is kinda doubtful.

The Escalade EXT just because it’s goofy looking.
