I know people will probably jump all over me for saying this...but... Its just a Chevy Equinox with some fancy trim, some slightly re-arranged knobs and stuff and some nice seat covering material. I say this as someone who is now leasing a Chevy Equinox EV and the interior, exterior and everything else looks about 95%

I like it, but not sure what you’re gonna do with this that you wouldn’t already do with a standard Lyriq (except pay $20k more, perhaps).

Stiff competition for the wiener mobile.

Just wait until Canada cuts off oil exports to the US and the price of gas jumps a dollar or two.  Try explaining to your uncle that he voted for that.

Sorry but there’s no way the federal government is spending 120 BILLION on DEI initiatives.

And fresh limes no doubt.

the Vegas Loop can handle“For comparison, around 4,000 passengers per hour traveling through the tunnels in Tesla cars”

Math doesnt add up. Assume each direction has half the 4000 passengers. 2000 passengers one way, divide by 4 per car, means 500 vehicles per hour. Given there are 3600 seconds in an hour, means a car must leave every 7.2 seconds. Really?

It’s a half assed solution to an actual problem. Richie Rich here should be overjoyed that the streets are being cleared of the riff raff but he is a miser of Dickensian stature.

I was on the fence, but seeing as it’s gone, NP, I guess. I was a little skeptical of the owner’s rationale for selling, but on the other hand, Bay area pricing.

It also absolutely sucks that much of the country was bulldozed, and public transit killed off, in favor of car suburbia(the original versions of which were founded on segregationist principles) and car-centric infrastructure.
And the real salt on the wound is that so many initiatives to move away from it are actively

Define “better”

Sports cars should have cup holders and cruise control.  There’s no reason not to include them other than vanity.

The McLaren F1 is overrated and ugly.

In America, driving mostly sucks and anyone who tells you different is trying to sell you something.

The “passing lane” isn’t a lane for you to drive as fast as you want just because you are passing everyone. But please get the hell out of the way 😄

The US should require behind the wheel driving tests every 10 years. With a written test every 5.

The 25 year rule doesn’t exist for safety or emissions, it’s because importing “grey market” cars from Europe was so lucrative a business in the 70s and 80s that the dealership lobby paid off Washington to make it illegal.

Base model zero option economy cars should have manual transmissions, Civics, Mirages, Sentras, Elantras etc. Pretty much all of these offer manual transmissions in their previous generations or in their current performance models so they have the tooling. I’m really just tired of CVTs and think more people having to

can you imagine ordering something in 2018 and being told it may be ready in 2027?
