This is Joe Manchin’s poison pill in action. It’s a nice $7500 subsidy in theory, but it turns out no car qualifies for it after you go through all the fine print.

This is the comment I was looking for.  Obviously the CEO of Stellantis is not going to acknowledge that.  But I expected the articles and comments on his statement’s to have hit this point.  The future of transportation does not need to (and should not) look like the present.

That we can agree on.

Last time I checked there was a NON-infinite amount of petroleum in the ground, so there is that issue also.

Ford/VW have already started making the new Ford Transit Connect/VW Caddy and Ford Transit Custom/VW Transporter T7 with electrification coming soon.

^ this.

As a matter of fact, yes. I haven’t videotaped myself, but I have taken before and after pictures. It really helps with motivation. My depression is like an anchor most days, and just getting out of bed or taking a shower can be a daunting task. Before and after pictures for me really help. If you don’t suffer from

Never understood the dislike of the California. It filled a market segment that doesn’t really exist for the brand anymore, and also served as a stopgap between the 2000s and 2010s/post-458 era of Ferrari design that didn’t cost a quarter of a million USD to buy.

Nice list of NDs. $16K for a 2008 SAAB w/ 100K+ miles? Nice car but get real.

Already has an independent rear suspension. Has the interior to match the price tag. Lincoln is going after that old-school-American-isolated-from-the-road-qu

Why do people keep ranting about range while towing? People that actually need to tow any great distance aren’t interested in these. These are for people that need to tow their boat five miles to the lake/river/whatever, but otherwise use their truck like a family sedan.

My (mis)understanding, possibly correct, is that they chose the 747-200 as the basis of the VC-25A rather than waiting for the -400 in order to take best advantage of a lot of engineering work done for the E-4.

But at least old tires remain as supple as the day they were vulcanized.

I actually like the Vignale shooting brake, but it looked better in green.

Well, I’ll do you a HUGE favor and take that 365 GTC/4 off your hands for you. I’m pretty great that way, so willing to sacrifice.

Finally, someone gets it. There has been a tragic lack of off the wall wild cards of late.

You see? This is where Australia gets it right. If you win a prize, any prize be it the $100 million lottery or just the local cricket club raffle, it’s considered a gift and you don’t pay any tax on the principal at all.

Nothing of value was lost.

Here’s my ‘86 F-150 I did a while back. I love engine details because its usually one of the best ‘before & after’ you can have on a vehicle.
