Like a lot of you, I’m saying NP, but really, I’d want this at $5000. It has a lot of upside- fun color, long roof box-o-rama. With a little love and some time it is a glorious 2nd car, winter fun car or even a car for your cool niece or nephew.

Maglevs?

100%. Just a little investment in human decency and dignity- like trash pick up and a clean restroom or portajohn would solve a large amount of the visible issues here. It doesn’t solve them all, but it is a start.

Before the Neon, it was all about the Dodge Shadow & Plymouth Acclaim. They were everywhere back then- cheap and took a beating, but you don’t see them anymore, for better or worse.

Living in the timeline where a VW Microbus is near 30k and a 944 Turbo is 19k. Wild.

Killer’s Kiss, by Stanley Kubrick is a noir masterpiece, from his very early career. Worth a watch.

In a doomsday scenario there’s the E4-B NightWatch - which if the POTUS is onboard, is also Air Force 1. Basically and even more badass 747.

I had the same thoughts on the tires. 20 year old dry rotted rubber would doubtfully be so easy to drive on.

365 GTC/4 is totally an Italian Bitchin’ Camaro. It’s rad in real life, and, IMHO better looking than the Daytona. My former boss had one, and it was super cool.

Shout out to “Blast From the Past” With Brandon Fraser and Christopher Walken.

I was on one a few years back, Korean Air, and they let me scoot up to the hump deck to take a look real quick before take off. I’m such a nerd.

All three of my parent’s Volvo 240s were stick. My mom’s Honda Accords (2) were stick too! It’s how I learned. Some of my favorites were my Corola SR5 and my friend’s Toyota Truck (IDK it was small, orange and called The Hell) but the Karmann Ghia gave me fits.

I want to live in this EV Saab reality.

underrated movie.

Ug. I have a 2014 Passat that gets the same, if better, milage from a turbo 4. Hybrid should get way better MPGs.

Saab 9-3 Turbo X SportCombi is another sleeper Swede wagon. I Still lust for one.

The correct Panther Platform sleeper car is the Mercury Marauder. Supercharged 4.6 L V8... Smoke em’ if you got ‘em.

The Honda S2000... a great car. Would do well today, under appreciated in it’s time.

this would have been an excellent EV/Hybrid

Honda Del Sol is the outlier answer. Dead reliable, under budget and fun as heck to drive. Trunk is larger than you’d think. Manual, FWD.
