I can't believe I'm about to play devil's advocate for a corporation, but here goes...I don't get the giant uproar about this guys. Correct me if I'm wrong, but here's how I see the scenario:

I played the demo 5 times, lost every time (first couple because I didn't understand how the blocks refilled, last 3 because of super computer combos based entirely on luck), and decided to never play it again. I got frustrated with the first Puzzle Quest because of the sometimes seemingly unfair luck the computer

I'd be really surprised if he was actually "snapping necks". He's probably just knocking them out with quick sleeper holds, I doubt they'd compromise his entire character by saying, "You know, in this game, Batman should just fucking murder people and go about his business. Noone would have a problem with that right?"

@excaliburps: Yeah, in the first issues he used a freakin' gun! They changed that real quick though to the anti-gun anti-kill still badass Batman we came to know and love.

If this is just a ripoff of Smash Bros. with an actually usable online component...I'll probably buy. Because I love Smash Bros., and more people should rip it off! Nintendo ruined it by making online completely worthless, so I no longer play it, so a clone would have to suffice.

@DontAskMe: Thanks for that explanation I wasn't quite getting it either, and I was too lazy to read the law myself. :)

What I remember about 'Alice' is that it froze 10 minutes into the game, then would never uninstall from my hard drive, yet also wouldn't let me play it ever again, or install another copy since i already had one on the computer. So I had a completely worthless game on my computer until it finally crashed 5 years

I just have to add to the chorus of AMAZINGs above. I don't even like Half-Life that much but this is very well done for the nothing budget they had. Kudos all around to them for this! And smart move not using Gordon Freeman, he's pretty much just the cameraman in Half-Life.

I need Wheel of Fortune. I need it to live. If it somehow inexplicably supported voice chat, like EndWar, where you didn't have to take the time to type in the answer (thus giving unscrupulous online foes time to cheat), so much the better!

@Kobun: For shame! Eh actually you're kinda right, I liked the first Arcade Game version better actually.

I totally had to Google "how to tie a tie" this summer, because I somehow made it to age 26 without ever having to do it myself. I tried 10 different sites and I never could get it to work right. I finally just had my friend do it and now I loosen it when I need to wear it, so it never needs to be tied again. :)

Perhaps now they'll finally get around to the expose on this "Mario" fella they've heard so much about. Did you know in his "Illegal Drug Simulator Games" that you pop Mushrooms to gain health and increase size? This is a terrible lesson our children are exposed to, and it's time NBC put a stop to it!

@SatansBestBuddy: ...plot points? I'm pretty sure that trailer just gave us all the plot points we can expect. "Madworld! Mayhem! Jack! Kill things! Chainsaw! Recycling!" There, plot suscinctly explained. Will I still be purchasing? All signs point to Yes.

I've been looking forward to this for months, way more than the proposed sandbox Batman game Pandemic was working on before they shelved it (and good riddance!) I need this game like oxygen, and I need it to be GOOD. You know how much I've been wanting to play a good Batman game? I bought LEGO Batman. Yeah. With $60

@Nahir: You are correct sir, Harley Quinn was made for the cartoon and then adopted by the comics when she became super popular. And yeah, making Mr. Freeze not suck must have won that show Emmys by itself. His backstory was tragic and if he didn't go around killing innocent people I would root for him. As it stands I

Why wouldn't you buy the fact that the very important Cowboys/Giants game stole a significant portion of the Spike Awards audience? The Cowboys are both the most loved and most hated of NFL franchises, so either one of those factions would want to tune in to watch them win/lose; and football attracts the same demo the

I read this article 4 minutes ago. I bought the shirt 3 minutes ago. I don't even remember doing it, it was so mandatory my body did it automatically. I am a better man for having purchased this. Thank you, Kotaku, for the heads up!

@Kobun: You're my new best friend for referencing Mars Matrix, perhaps my favorite shoot em up of all time! (Well, maybe R-Type III is 1st...it'd be close anyway.) Also, you have a servbot pic. LUNCH RUSH!

@Gyaruson: LOL, very nice. Sony's should go something like this:
