He looks awfully familiar...say, has anyone ever seen Matt Hazard and Brian Urlacher in the same place? Hmmm...

@denki: You are correct sir, I have not played either one of those. I was in love with Armored Core for a time, but I had to upgrade to faster movement parts or I'd lose my mind. I also like Custom Robo, if that even counts. :)
@Boneyard: I'd simply like to know how/why Killer Moth could possibly be your favorite Batman villain. ;) When I saw he was on the game I let out a boisterous "WTF?" But I have no room to talk, Ra's Al Ghul is my favorite and most people didn't know who he was until Batman Begins (which did not do him justice btw.)
@Capp: I've almost completed the game, and I have encountered those bugs a few times myself. As for the camera, it's not about it having bugs as it is at an angle where it's almost impossible to judge jumps, and pressing Right/Left to go right/left ends up making you go slightly diagonal, which walks you right off of…
Sounds great to me too, as long as the mechs don't move too slowly. Nothing fun about slowly lumbering/hovering towards your opponents. Doesn't seem to be any kind of customization options, though, which is disappointing for a giant robot multiplayer fighting game.
@gblock: I actually said to myself yesterday how well the camera worked in almost all situations. I didn't play the other Lego games so I can't compare, but it seems more than adequate to me. Of course, I still have yet to play a 3D platformer (with fixed camera angles) that gets depth perception right, and jumping…
This is the first Lego game I've played (my huge Batman fanboyism being the reason) but I am enjoying it so far. I've played through the first story on the hero and villain sides, and I think there's a nice variety in how the diff characters play so it doesn't get monotonous. It does not hold your hand, however; if…
I just played the demo for Pure and I really liked it, it was like Excite Truck except you weren't penalized for actually knowing how to drive. That, Lego Batman, and MAYBE Wario Land, just to justify owning a Wii.
The French: fucking things up for the rest of the world since 1789!
What?! No Hammercycle?! No Hamjet??! The exclusion of Captain Hammer from this game is a mockery of a sham, and I shall have no truck with it! Good day to you Lego Batman.
Besides Batman I hate almost everything DC does. However, I love almost everything Jim Lee or Geoff Johns does, so that negative bias has now been negated! Count me as "cautiously optimistic" for this MMO. Hopefully it will rekindle the kind of love I once had for City of Villains before I got bored with it. I want to…
Thank goodness this is fake, last thing we need is an online game where you can only be Batman.
This reminds me of Speed Devils for the Dreamcast. It had lots of environmental hazards that changed lap to lap, including a track with an ongoing tornado you had to avoid. Very fun game. Man, I think I'll pull that out and play it, it's been too long.
@DARTH_TIGRIS: Well in the case of price cut leaks, it very much DOES benefit us to know before it happens, because that saves us from running out today to buy a system when we can just wait a couple weeks and get a better model for the same price or cheaper. It screws Microsoft, sure, but who cares about them losing…
Hehehe... Keep you pounding away into the night.
We have word on the next game in the legendary Sonic canon: Big The Cat Trims The Fat!
I don't care about this one being canceled, I've had my reservations about a sandbox Batman since it was announced, Pandemic or no Pandemic. I'd much rather have a story-based Batman experience that is more true to the character than an attempt to make a free roaming game for all people that ends up falling short. I'm…
How could you not love this idea? I, for one, welcome Mayor West as the voice of Lego Batman, and hope they somehow incorporate a giant golden statue of the Sugar Smacks frog into an episode.
Wow, it has to have been 2 years since I've played City of Villains, and now I suddenly want to reinstall it just to create new missions for others to play. Also, my preferred type was Corrupter, and Pain Domination seems to scratch me just where I itch.
...DARY!!!
