It’s a metaphor that had nothing to do with the genders of the people it referred to, it had everything to do with dominant and submissive roles in the political sense by using sex as the point of reference. That shouldn't have been allowed to happen, either. Nor Memphis Grizzlies. Nor Washington Wizards, though that's an entirely different situation.

I'm just not buying it. Florida over Miami in Dade County? Michigan over MSU in at least a third of Michigan? South Carolina stretching right up to the heart of the ACC? Yeah... this has to be skewed somehow, or at the very least badly undersampled.
