DeeJ wasn’t great at fielding the community well before Destiny launched. It’s just with all the hype surrounding the game (and the claimed player count) he got a hell of a lot more visibility. I don’t like him but that stems from interactions on Bungie a long time ago and is more of a personal “axe to grind” thing…
