I dislike most classic horror films (too many to name) and hate 95% of zombie movies.

I saw the first couple movies and thought they were alright.

"Despise" is probably a rather strong word for how I feel about Star Wars.

Definitely agreed. For that matter, I don't think most of the items on that list are all that notable on a larger scale. People not liking any of these things is hardly shocking to me.

Star Wars. All of it.

I really got into NMH back in '99. Within a month of buying ITAOTS on CD that year, I was in the hospital for a few weeks on the literal verge of death (from an extremely serious illness not related to the band or the album).

Yes. You're Next is much, much better and a great deal more memorable. Easily one of my favorite horror films from this decade, actually.

This is one of the better movies I watched during a horror/thriller marathon over the weekend. For the record, Creep was the best watch (another movie where the antagonist's back story is somewhat vague).

My opinion is they got screwed by the act of going to college being drilled into every child's head as an absolute obligation, starting in the 90s. A 4 year degree became worthless and people who don't need or probably shouldn't have degrees ended up going into massive debt to acquire them. Double whammy.

It's always been my dividing line, I am the same age.

Born in 82 here, pretty much on the same generational line. It's more of a gap, really.

"We are the first generation that has one foot in the internet era, but also remembers when it took forever to use dial-up internet, or we didn’t have internet."

I've always thought psychedelic drug use was under-represented in media…

Good point about Breaking Bad and the drug addict caricature. Totally agree. That show was good at realistically portraying hard drug use in terms of characters and the bigger picture. Aside from Jesse… Badger and Skinny Pete were shown as fairly normal dudes for the most part; more goofy slacker caricatures than
