Not a word of this is untrue. You want to see a large number of heads explode with rage? Get this shared to io9, the Batdicksuckingest group of commenters this side of Frank Miller’s bedroom.

I TOO COMMEND ME

Put it this way. Good cops, consciously nor not, try to be Superman. Bad cops think they’re Batman. “I wear this uniform so that people will be afraid of me.”

If you think laser vision is hot, wait until the cross-post to io9.

Albert, you are a deeply intelligent man with outstanding insights into the moral, physical, and intellectual superiority of Superman. I commend you.

“Darth Zimmerman” - brilliant.

How a Batman v. Superman fight ends:

This is the list of a moron. Even George W. Bush’s list (“The Wite Hows; My Dade’s Frens”) was better than this list. The young billionaire industrialist who makes this list needs a fucking trustee to manage his wealth for him, and probably to cut his hot dogs into little half-circles so that he will not choke to

.

Eh, 360 was based on PowerPC-architechture. You know, the IBM chips that macs from early noughties used. It’s pretty different from x86 PCs and new consoles use. Maybe you were thinking of the first xbox?

Ooohh...

You already know how it infringes on the freedom of speech. Your argument seems to be there are even worse ways we could compel the baker to adopt a viewpoint. We could make the baker completely adopt the message (not sure what that means?), or even “say” the three words (although I’m not sure how being forced to

This isn’t about how liberal you might or might not be. This isn’t a fucking litmus test. If Stewart was supporting a baker’s right to refuse to serve gay couples cakes that they’d make for anyone else I might agree with you, but that’s not what he’s doing. Since I would fight for a feminist baker’s right to decline

I am gay and see crystal clear how it’s a violation of free speech: The government is compelling the bakery to produce an item that contains a political message it disagrees with. Pretty clear violation of freedom of speech principles right there.

It’s a free speech issue because the government is compelling the bakery, by law, to produce an item that contains a political message they disagree with or face financial liability. If this were a U.S. case, the law would be pretty quickly struck down as a violation of the First Amendment.
