Modern trucks are actually really nice imo. They ride pretty well, have a ton of power on tap and they can do donuts.
Do you know which one?
DC uses paper temporary plates.
The volt can run on gas too.
UK gallons are different. 50mpg in the UK is 41mpg in the US
I miss those old Cherokees.
Don’t shit on Hyundais, the current Elantra is much better than the CLA.
The CLA is so awful. It has no features, the headlights are halogen reflectors, and the interior isn’t that amazing. I’d rather get a fully loaded V6 Accord for the same money.
It “blitzed the quarter-mile in 14.6 at 95 mph”. That’s actually surprising for a V6 brick on wheels.
I dig the quirkiness and JDM-ness of it, but the implementation was awful. It’s basically a square Versa with the same drivetrain and the same horrible interior quality.
Some of the folks protesting the removal were singing some nazi chants.
It is a thing in other countries. From my experience however they are absolutely awful and you don’t get access to the clutch pedal anyway. All you get are rough shifts and very very slow downshifts, even manually.
Lately I keep getting surprised by MPG figures in trucks. V8 trucks these days get almost as good fuel economy as 1995 Toyota Tacomas with the 2.4.
You gotta do what you gotta do when you need some caffeine.
India is even better, people there will just straight up walk in front of the car.
Do the drivers get the full $15 or does uber take a (probably huge) cut?
The Sonic is absolutely not a Focus competitor! The Sonic is a pure real subcompact. The Focus competes with the Cruze, it just happens to be small because it was designed by Ford Europe.
17k for a FiST?! I literally crossed it off my list at first when I was car shopping a couple years ago because it was over my 19k budget, ugh.
I don’t like that Tesla makes it proprietary though. If I want to charge then let me pay to charge, even if I have a Volt or something.
