Took a real pit-bull in the boardroom to close this deal.

I have to say, this whole schtick is actually pretty funny.
A Fistful of Minutes
This thread is really taking me back to the good ol' days of The AV Club. Each comments section used to be a little present (or landmine, depending on your perspective) that would unwrap itself more and more as time went on.
Avast! This be The White Whale of trolls. Slay her, and a thousand men will hoist you upon their shoulders a sing yer praises throughout the lands! They shall write books that tell the tale of this day!
Aw Camden isn't that bad. Why, I'm typing this message on my iPad while happily walki….Hey, I'm back, got mugged. Good thing they didn't find my iPhone! What's this over here? Why, yes, I would like to meet some ladies tonight, thank you kind sir! Why is this one pregnant? Smoke that? Oh, what the hell why not.…
Yeah, that one went to some dark places. But I think he was just being honest. I don't think hes depressed, I just think he was like "Oh, this is the show where people used to spill their guts out all over Maron's garage- let's get it back on track!"
I loved hearing Mr. White compare season 2 to a "suburban-Riverside version of Notes from The Underground. That was the vibe I had all along and probably why I loved it so much.
Really, Todd. We expect nothing less than a full on critical assault of HBO. Pitchforks, torches and scythes in the hands of each and every critic.
That scene alone is reason enough to mourn the loss of Enlightened . As someone who can relate very directly to that episode, I also keep going back to that scene in my head. Just a beautiful, heartbreaking, true-to life moment that hardly ever makes its way onto the small-screen.
Oh, yeah. That "The Ghost is Seen" totally nailed me. Not because I completely relate (I do try), but there was a period in my life where I was totally heartbroken and wallowed around in it for two years hardly speaking to anyone (my first two years in NYC). I came home every day to an empty apartment, made myself…
….I think it describes a large portion of the student body as well. Drugs…drugs….drugs….and more drugs.
Possibly the finest little podcast experience I've ever had. It was truly incredible for someone like me, who was a huge Phish fan in late high school and college (and a completely lapsed one since about 2002), to listen to two people who's work I respect tremendously have the same conversation I had with myself in…
I'm a Papyrus man myself. Really looks great on a resume. It tells your potential employer that you're a man of peace with a respect for his elders.
I bought one of those shirts. It's completely ridiculous, but I wear it with pride.
Also, @avclub-9c6b8d05e85ea47d74f7ee93f13a376b:disqus : didn't you think it was interesting that the moment Don saw Megan act like a child to get what she wanted, he seems to have soured on her? He loved Megan for her confidence and seemingly limitless potential, but once she threw an tantrum and he gave her…
Betty Draper is the role January Jones was born to play. January, with all her (VERY well-done) pastic surgery and whatnot, obviously has some self-images issues (well, probably no more than those of most Hollywood actresses..), probably brought on by having a mother much like Betty.
I dunno, Voltaire and Jonathan Swift were huge snarky trolls. Pretty sure snark is an old-world concept.
Well considering the drawing looks like something out of an Ah-Ha video, the caption should read:
Hopefully Don and Roger to to Vegas together and drop acid and liquid mescaline and huff ether at Circus! Circus!
