If the show was true to life, they most likely would fool around on the side.  The darkest and most realistic of all possibilities would be that Jim suspected it but had no proof and he lived the rest of his life with  simmering resentment and suspicion.  The less dark option would be him finding out about it and them

It really has. This episode had me in tears. Speechless.

I think this episode could be the start of some growth and self-actualization taking place.

I think it was pretty profound, @avclub-29501df08e5d9ae59e432e4f188d3735:disqus .  You and I haven't talked in a while (I think last season's Girls comment boards just got way out of hand), but I know you're a New Yorker like I used to be (enjoying a more purposeful and fulfilling life out in LA now, believe it or

Refer to my comment below, but I totally agree with you.  The most honest and raw episode of the show to date.  She's about the age where people figure out they aren't as smart and self-assured as they think they are.  And also the age where people start learning how to navigate relationships and how to properly

I completely and totally disagree with you here @avclub-4a51fda79bbd54b4e7327dd6559b6c4d:disqus .  This was far and away the best episode of the show and it nearly brought me to tears.  In my 6 years living in NYC, I experienced a very similar situation with least half of the women I dated for a short time or had a

It's almost embarrassing to list the number of TV shows I watch.  Tack on the list of shows that are no longer on the air that I've watched in totality, it's outright disgusting.

@avclub-85d8ce590ad8981ca2c8286f79f59954:disqus I'm on board with you on most points, but the whole "stole their architecture" thing can't really be counted as a valid slight against Roman culture.  The entirety of Western civilization ripped off Greek architecture for 1,000 years.

The other implication is that network TV (NBC) will stick around if it returns to producing lowest common denominator-pleasing anti-comedy, only to fuck it all up again way into the future by softening on the populist stance and making real comedies.

NEW NO NO!

They really were some of the best days of my life, Rural Juror.  It's like someone made a show that was wired directly into my brain, with all of its unwieldy thought processes and insane non-sequters.  After the golden age of The Simpsons, I felt very alone in this world.

You made the same mistake Mickey Rourke made on that catamaran- you didn't kill me when you had the chance.

I'm going to flail helplessly into bed and sob like nobody's watching (THEY AREN'T).  Good thing my bed is a California Kong.  That gorilla leather really holds up during excessive rage-tear sessions.

I think the implication was that he went undercover to take down the KKK, as the FBI had repeatedly done throughout it's history (most notably in the 1930s, which wouldn't make much sense for the character, but still).

It really was the best sitcom hookup I've ever seen.  I just got accused of being a "girl" about it by the girl I'm seeing but she just started watching New Girl 4 episodes ago so she doesn't get it.  Needless to say, it really worked for me.

It was just to show he was high.  Becoming aware of your heartbeat through "tunnel-hearing" is a side effect of stimulants.
