Absolutely agree with everything in this post.  It seems like Levi is going to be the one who attains a true recovery and will be the one to convince Amy to stop her self-destrictive, self-righteous quests.

You're really beating this joke to death over here.

It might be cheap laughs, but they work for me.

As someone who experienced a alcohol/drug rehab facility (about 10 years ago- I was a very stupid kid), I thought it was a stunningly accurate portrayal of what goes through your mind about yourself and about everyone around you the first few weeks you're in there.  All the "Higher Power" stuff took me right out of

@avclub-cca2521bc30a14c178a89e2f696a2368:disqus I would understand if Mr. Jimmy Buffet himself has never done bad cocaine.  But for the rest of us that aren't in Miami or San Diego, it's mostly baby laxatives.

Maybe with some disco shit.

Yeah they should have changed all references to cocaine to MDMA in the script.

How bout this winter we've had, @avclub-4a51fda79bbd54b4e7327dd6559b6c4d:disqus !  It's been a frigid 50 degrees up until last week!

It's Yiddish!

You know, everyone hates on "The Californians" around here.  I think it's fucking hilarious.  Full disclosure- I live in LA.  It's sort of a one or two-note joke sketch, but those jokes are pretty funny if you (1) know a bunch of native Californians and (2) have sat though endless conversations about the perfect

"They rejected his zoning ordinance proposal for a light-industrial squeaky toy factory in the city of Palm Beach- now he's going to burn it to the ground.  See Jason Statham in Squeak-City Council: 9 Ways to Die.

Sounds about right.  I'd probably bump Angles up to a 6/10.  But close enough.

I think the main symptom of "fuck tardiness" is using the term "fuck tard" and preventing even those who agree with you from taking your comment seriously.

I think The Cars are probably the main influence of the band, minus the vocals.

I liked your comment until I got to the "fuck tards" part.

Yeah if they came down two octaves on the syth and slowed the song down about 10 BPM it could pass for something on Room On Fire.  It follows basically the same structure.  I think the reflex reaction to anything that doesn't sound like "Alone, Together" is straight negativity.

Hmm.  After two listens, I decided I really like this song.  To each their own, I guess.

NBC really knows how to punch us all straight in our respective peacocks.
