I'm going to guess you missed the rest of the stories in there as well... or the fact that the justice part was emphasized and the issues surrounding their sweeping of things under the rug.
I often look fondly back on the days when the government forced me to take in soldiers because they didn't pay them... sigh. The good old days.
I don't love Sorkin, but that first monologue in the pilot that went on for about 2 minutes sums up about all of American politics today. I can't begrudge him that, although the rest of the show was terrible.
I already have friends saying this is the next Duke lacrosse scandal. It's not really. Saying "well one of the anecdotes was maybe false so all of them must be crying rape over nothing" is ridiculous. The real conversation here needs to be about how the university was sweeping sexual assault under the rug, but now…
This is some next level trolling here
My brain hurts from reading this
I don't know why I laughed that hard at that, but I did. And it's definitely a sorry not sorry moment.
Do you not have a sense of humor? I'm going with no.
Exactly! The defendant is not supposed to testify before a grand jury. Of course they let Darren Wilson do it, because why not guys?!
I was referring to more after you take the AZO to relieve the burning :)
No, no, no, it's "It Just Stopped Hurting to Pee"
An indictment isn't even convicting him. It's basically just saying we think there's enough here to pursue a trial against him. It doesn't even require the amount of substantial evidence beyond reasonable doubt as an actual trial does. For godsakes we can't even get a guy on tape convicted. We're all fucked.
Another one - drink every time it looks like Alison Williams is looking off into space because the computer generated Tinkerbell is 6-8" away from her gaze.
There's a good one!
I'm really hoping the US DOJ steps up to the plate here and indicts him and prosecutes him. It would not be unheard of as it's happened before where someone in NY was not prosecuted locally, but the DOJ found him guilty and sentenced him to jail time.
Wait wait wait... so this guy had already been written up for this before, and did it again?! The more I hear about this whole thing, the more I want to smash my computer screen.
That's the equivalent of drinking every time someone swears in Boondock Saints. My liver isn't adequately trained for that anymore.
I am promoting you out of the grey's so we can make this decision together as a team!
What in the actual fuck did I just read? Are they actively trying to incite riots? I just give up today...
