Yet again, those Russian dudes. They manage to sound mildly curious and mostly disinterested at the same time (including that “Huh! Well look at that” chuckle one guy does). Truly amazing.

Hell of a year to be a sports fan in Georgia, huh?

I finally have a name to put to the face!

One of the TVs at my job (News) is tuned to NBC, and he appears “essentially” naked in a scene that I happened to see while walking to the break room, and Jesus H. Christ.

Probably the best DM advice I’ve ever gotten has been to treat DMing like improv, which is that you don’t say “No”, you say “Yes, and....”

Manu forever.

Do we have a single example of the Russian TV announcers getting excited about anything?

Shabazz Napier is absolutely doing the drum work for Terrace Martin’s next LP and toured with Trombone Shorty.

Intensely doubtful. The original material, whatever it is, cannot save bad story-making. People loved the story and mythos of Warcraft and the movie was hoooooooooooooboy.

Eh. I mean, I’m a SR fan myself, but assigning anything that features Elves/Trolls/Orks et al in a modern/near-future setting as being “heavily inspired” by Shadowrun seems like giving it a little bit too much credit. I feel like “What if Orks were real and shot guns” isn’t THAT unique a concept.

This does seem like an entire 23-episode TV season’s worth of ideas crammed into a single 120-minute film.

I mean, if this is the end product, I’m quite happy they didn’t.

....is trying to do too much, and none of it works cohesively together.

Sidenote: Have you ever heard the people who always talk about breeding close-mindedness and division when the attacks are coming from the left towards the right ever say the same when the attacks are coming from the right towards the left?

This is completely the correct answer in casting, however, the fact that the non-Seth Rogen dude who directed Sausage Party is apparently behind this... eeeeesh.

I saw it! I thought it was fine!

“The manga anime eyes that we’ve seen since the 30s and Astro Boy has never been done photorealistically.”

AIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGH

Oh, this is FANTASTIC.
