It just seems so weird to me. The entire history of sports in America is tied up with politics. From Jackie Robinson to Unions to the Miracle on Ice.

The jig is in ascension.

I just finished Season 3 of Narcos, and every time I see Jaime now it’s weirdly hilarious to me.

Like the NYT said, he thinks this is a political winner for him. It’s his new “Lock Her Up!”, so it’s not going to go away anytime soon.

“there’s no anthem being played before movies or plays.”

And so much harder than he goes after people walking around in public shouting “Jews will not replace us!”

He has all but guaranteed that a LOT more players will be kneeling on Sunday.

I saw a poster for it at the movie theater near me and genuinely thought it was a joke.

In my case, wholly the latter.

My sole fear with this show is that they are snowballing towards putting BoJack and Diane together as a couple, a concept I find as revolting as Liz Lemon/Jack Donaghy.

Underrated comment.

It’s a fun gif, but the reaction of the dude in the headphones wearing the white shirt makes it wonderful.

It genuinely was comedically perfect. The timing, everything.

That is incredibly sad, but not wholly surprising. The first few seasons of Narcos were about the drug war in the past. This is about its still very dangerous and violent present.

Right, so, he’s protesting people protesting racism by being racist.

Oh Jesus, the thing in Plano?

I think it’s interesting, because this strikes me as the kind of show that, ordinarily, might’ve gone all-in on the Emma Stone meme (or created an even more ridiculous, sillier joke), but I think they know they can’t.

I laughed so damn hard at this episode.

Yes, I was thinking about this after I finished the season. Without spoiling anything, there’s a part of a gag in a later episode where Diane ever-so-briefly touches on race, but it’s instantly dropped. I think Brie has done fantastically as Diane, but yeah, I also think they may have realized that might not’ve been

I’d never even considered a “Session Zero” until this most recent game I started last year, and I wish i’d known before. Such a good way to start things.
