My sole fear with this show is that they are snowballing towards putting BoJack and Diane together as a couple, a concept I find as revolting as Liz Lemon/Jack Donaghy.

That is incredibly sad, but not wholly surprising. The first few seasons of Narcos were about the drug war in the past. This is about its still very dangerous and violent present.

I think it’s interesting, because this strikes me as the kind of show that, ordinarily, might’ve gone all-in on the Emma Stone meme (or created an even more ridiculous, sillier joke), but I think they know they can’t.

Without spoiling anything, there’s a part of a gag in a later episode where Diane ever-so-briefly touches on race, but it’s instantly dropped. Anything that makes them, even briefly, like the Super Friends from Dexter’s Laboratory I am in favor of. Not all the time, but the diversion would be wonderful.
