What the fuck
What the fuck
Wait, there's been FOUR of these movies?
There's a whooooole lotta oral histories floating around these days, huh?
I'm not that surprised, they're fucking hilarious. The short video podcast they were doing on Complex (how I got introduced to them) was fantastic, and they're even better now. I mean, at some point the AV Club's got to acknowledge them.
Baseball.
It's Out of the Park Baseball and MLB The Show 16 season, people.
Baseball.
Instead of telling you about my weekend (I worked) can I instead tell you about my upcoming plans?
Oddly, because this turned into a conversation at my job this week, he HAS won an Oscar though, as a Producer for Crash.
DiMaggio's record impresses me more and more every time I read about it. I think my favorite factoid about it is that immediately following the end of the streak, he then hit in another 16 straight games. He got a hit in 72 of 73 games, almost 50% of the season. Just absurd.
I'm considering taking on BG this way myself. I've played it before, just never FINISHED it, and I could live with just obliterating every horde of slaver assholes that waylay us.
I've got a bunch of time off coming up, so I've slated "Gone Home" on my immediate to-play list, but if I'm honest, I'm most looking forward to finally trying to beat Baldur's Gate II.
Alright, FINE. I'll start watching "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend"!
I don't think it edges it out, I think the Crank movies are CLEARLY live-action GTA.
I think I love Stephanie and the character of Rosa even more because the chasm between the two is just so. Vast. The idea of this tough-as-nails cop who thinks that smiling is an unnecessary show of emotion is being played by what appears to be a real-life adult Powerpuff Girl just brings me so much joy.
Yup, for me it was in the Hollywood Reporter (I think?) thing on stars and their dogs, and my head nearly exploded.
I've had that happen to me once or twice, and it's always absolutely hilarious. I had a friend from college show up as a priest in some CBS procedural, and I started cackling so hard I fell off the couch, because I knew that "priest" when he literally set himself on fire trying to impress a girl.
I don't know if any human beings have had more fun than those guys seem to.
I only followed along on Twitter, but hearing about The New Day emerging from a gigantic box of Booty O's dressed like Saiyans (WITH THE TAIL) is nearly enough to get me to start watching wrestling again.
I want to say "WHAT?!?!?" but I know better.
I'll be completely honest, after watching Every Frame a Painting's episode on Jackie Chan and action comedy ( https://www.youtube.com/wat… ), seeing movies that totally fuck up good combat has goddamn near become a dealbreaker.
Oh man, Boris and Natasha. I really need to rewatch episodes of Rocky and Bullwinkle again sometime soon. I think it's on one of the streaming services somewhere.
