I started Friday Night Lights about a month ago, and yeah, I get it. I'm taking my time going through it, but it's been fantastic.

Delightful.

Quietly hoping the first episode is just a version of this for 30-60 minutes.

For a while there, I would always go back and play Farenheit/Indigo Prophecy over the holidays/in the dead of winter. I still love it, even though it turns into a badly-written Dragonball Z fanfic for the last third.

Has a movie's release ever been more timely?

I feel like any Dwayne Johnson "motivational" show should just be a variant on his "Nicotrel" SNL sketch. Just him motivating people by threatening to beat the ever-loving shit out of them if they don't achieve their dreams.

Honestly, I'm considering seeing this movie purely on the strength of him delivering that "No, I need for us to treat each other like we're not gentlemen, and that we're very, very stupid." line he delivers in the trailer.

Yay for the love for "We Hate Movies"!

Thank you for reminding me of this, I need to re-watch it tonight.

South Pacific.

I don't care. I know every word to this song, and unironically love it.

Yeah, that's what I thought as well. The stuff he showed on Jimmy Kimmel is absurdly good.

That was the first thing I thought of as well. Sahkyoot.

A very enjoyable episode. Not the best, but the mark of a good show, to me, isn't how high it's highs are, but how it's low and medium episodes are.

Saw Top Five this weekend, and heartily enjoyed it. Sister called it "Black Woody Allen", which seems about right.

These really are fantastic, considering this is the bleakest winter for NY sports in recent memory. I wonder what the equivalent would be for the Knicks?

Good Lord. Take out the Mad Magazines and you're me. Those comics are the only reason I know who Lee Iacocca is, and why he's important.

Functionally, the entirety of Mega Man 2, is what you're saying. Which I agree with.

I feel like a bunch of the big-name AAA biblical blockbusters are trying to have it both ways with God (or, in the case of antiquity, Gods).

And the title music. The title music was awesome too.
