Two decades later and I still catch myself singing that song.

This fucking show. I still can't believe the episode where Heffer tries being a real cow and gets "milked" got on TV. I was 12 or 13 when that episode aired, and even thought I didn't COMPLETELY understand the reference, I knew it was shocking that it made it on a children's TV show.

"Did your tailor die? What happened to you?"

Y'know, the way that looked, I think she genuinely might've fallen off. If not, she sold that more realistically than any fall I've seen in ages.

Let's see:

Or Will Ferrell in "The Other Guys"?

I'm hoping it can live up to half of what "Good Kid" was, but Kendrick's dedication and ambition, and the insane level of quality he continues to put out even on those guest verses (I don't think I've heard a single Kendrick verse I could describe as "lazy" or "throwaway") has me optimistic.

Yeah, I thought that was the best performance of the night, by some distance.

Only America could birth a leader who literally attempted to visit every continent on earth and shoot everything that moved.

I just realized this, but all the hockey jerseys they had Robin wearing look like surplus Atlanta Thrashers uniforms. Which is extra-cheap since that team's defunct.

Hell, you can be lazier than that. Just start heading west and the choices immediately improve.

I still sing that "Flintstones Kids" song from the Flintstones vitamins commercials sometimes. I'll remember it forever.

I don't know if there's a trope in fiction, across all media that I'm more exhausted with than "The Chosen One". I am exhausted with hearing about yet another "Chosen One" who is the only one capable of actually saving the rest of you worthless pissants.

"The Middle" has, by an exceptional distance, the most realistic set for a family's living space on TV right now.

As some kind of recompense for my offense, allow me to link to a video of what my reaction surely would have been, had I not averted my eyes.

I remember the first time they introduced him, and I IMMEDIATELY assumed he was a predator. I don't know if it's that guy's method of acting, or if that's the direction they're giving him, but NOTHING about that dude says "here to help you work through a traumatic event".

Yeah, I spent the last 2/3rds of the episode saying "uh, this should be your job" to myself, but compared to most of the rest of the stuff from this season, it was a very strong episode and I enjoyed myself.

I've actually caught myself averting my eyes when she's on-screen.

I'm in the process of finishing Season 4 of The Wire so every time I see Malik it feels like my brain is throwing a gear.

The kid who plays young Jimmy gets my vote, personally. He manages to hit every little cameo they give him out of the park.
